How long does the test take?
Up to 10 minutes. We connect our diagnostic kit to the car, read the battery data, then disconnect. Nothing on the car is changed and it's harmless to the vehicle.
Which cars can you test?
Most popular electric cars. Send us the registration with your request and we'll confirm your car is supported before you pay anything.
What is a cell voltage check?
A battery is made up of many cells. For some models we also measure how evenly charged those cells are, which can show how well the battery has been looked after. Where your car supports it, it's included at no extra charge.
What does battery health (%) mean?
It's how much of its original capacity the battery still has. A battery at 93% can hold 93% of the energy it could when new, which affects how far the car can go on a charge.
Where do you cover?
West London. If the car is just outside the area, send a request anyway and we'll let you know if we can get to you.
How much does it cost and when do I pay?
£99 per home visit. Nothing is charged when you send a request. Once we've confirmed the car is supported and agreed a time, we email you a secure payment link to book the slot. Dealers testing several cars can ask about trade rates.
When will I get my report?
By email, as soon as we've processed the data from your test.
Can a buyer check the report is genuine?
Yes. Every certificate has a QR code and an assessment ID that anyone can scan to verify it.
I'm selling my car. Will a report help?
A report shows buyers you've had the battery checked independently and gives them real figures for health and range, so you can share it in your advert or with anyone viewing the car.
